Quizzing

Teen Bible quizzing is a unique and exciting ministry that combines Bible study, competition, fellowship, and disciple-making into one program.  The ability of Bible quizzing to take each of these elements and mold them into a program that is attractive to teenagers is what makes it such a successful and worthwhile ministry.

WV South Quizzing

Quizzing has been on our district for many years and we hope it continues to be as successful in the future as it has in the past.  Each year we have quizzes once a month from September until the district quiz in March (usually there is only one quiz in either November or December, depending on the district calendar).  We attempt to make a visit to every participating church at least once every two years.

Approximately half of our churches ahve had or currently have a teen quiz team.  Teams can consist of one or more youth and the church may have more than one team.  We recommend quizzing as a team of four so that each member can quiz as much as possible, but each individual church can make their own decision.  Some churches have gone together to form one team if there are only one or two teens from each church, but again this is up to the individuals with permission from the district director.

If you have any questions or would like to start a teen quiz team in your church, please contact Linda Runion at (304) 743-4641.  We would love to have you as a part of this district ministry!!
